We are a Spanish owned business based in the centre of Alhama de Granada in the Granada Province of Andalucía in Southern Spain.

José Antonio Sánchez Pérez (the boss!), and Lisa Mottershead (English speaking contact and translator/interpreter).

José is a born and bred "Alhameño" and his knowledge of the area, customs and local services is second to none. Laura, also a local to Alhama, has been with the company since it opened over three years ago and is the Spanish contact.

Lisa was born in Lancashire in England and moved to Alhama in 2004 with her husband Terry. She has worked for Jose since 2006.

Our Services

Our aim is to provide a complete service to locals, tourists and for anyone intending to make a future home here. We offer a variety of packages including Property Sales, Rentals (including Maintenance Packages) and New Build and Restoration Project Management. Also available: Translation & Interpretation, English and Spanish classes, Fax & Photocopying Services. Contact our office for local information, sales of local produce (Alhama wine, cheese and honey, etc.), excursions and guided tours of Alhama.

Costs of all our services are quoted and agreed with clients prior to any sales or provision of services with no hidden costs.

Alhama Absoluto is situated in the centre of the historic Moorish town of Alhama de Granada in the heart of Andalucia in Southern Spain.

We sell properties within a 30km radius of Alhama de Granada in the towns and villages around Pantano de Los Bermejales. This is a fantastic location nestled within mountains and natural parks and within an hour's drive from the city of Granada and the Costa Tropical.

We are aware of the needs of both sellers and buyers and will aim to ensure a smooth transition for both parties. We have a wealth of experience in finding property specific to your requirements in the region of Alhama de Granada and we have a wide selection of townhouses, apartments, country houses and land for sale. Most of these are typical and traditional Andalucian properties with lots of charm and character.

We provide a variety of services such as property advice for both sellers and buyers, viewings, valuations, referrals for legal advice if required, translation and interpretation, bank appointments and we will aim to fulfil any other needs you may have specific to buying or selling a property.

For translation and interpretation requirements we have an English member of staff who has personal experience in buying a home in Spain and is understanding of all needs and concerns you may during the process of buying a property in a foreign country.

Should you require accommodation in Alhama we can make arrangements on your behalf to ensure your visit runs as smoothly as possible and no time is wasted.

If you are planning to buy a property it is advisable to have access to 10% of the purchase cost to reserve a property although the amount of the deposit can be agreed between parties involved. Once you have reserved a property you can take advantage of our other services if required.

All work involved directly with a sale or purchase of a property will be dealt with as part of our after sales service including: tax procedures, insurance quotes, opening bank accounts, arranging mortgages, referrals, etc...
